I'm not sure if anyone else cares, but I replayed the demo of LS for about the tenth time (I do this once or twice per year), and I noticed that the AI is pretty weak. It seems to favor taking land over saving its pieces, so it will move a knight two spaces to get one piece of land and end up right next to one of my warriors, so it gets killed on the next turn. It also seems to favor using up all of its moves, so it will take the most indirect route to wherever it's going. Has anyone else noticed any other glitches like this? Or, relatedly, does anyoone know why it builds the pieces that it does? -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. It's possible that the pieces that it builds are random. I mean, I can't imagine that the computer looks very far ahead because it does horrendously idiotic things. A strategy you can use if there is a bottleneck is simply wait for their unit (whatever you want to call them) to get next to yours and just kill them. Also they do seem to favor taking land over killing pieces, which can often be just as annoying. -------------------- "Like most of life's problems, this one can be solved with bending" Posts: 287 | Registered: Tuesday, August 19 2003 07:00 |
