I played it once at wallmart and I think it was a pretty good game. -------------------- Don't expect the expected expect the unexpected if you expect the expected I expect you will remain unexpected. Posts: 775 | Registered: Friday, October 11 2002 07:00 |

Used to love the original Gauntlet I and II. I even got quite far in solving the nintendo version (the only one to my knowledge that has an ending) -------------------- Freude, schöner Götterfunken, Tochter aus Elysium, Wir betreten feuertrunken, Himmlische, dein Heilighthum! Deine Zauber binden wieder, was die Mode streng getheilt, Alle Menschen werden Brüder, wo dein sanfter Flügel weilt. The newer Gauntlets are mindless hackfests with no plot, no thinking, and no point. They are viscerally satisfying, but not really intereseting. Dark Legacy, from what little I've seen of it, adds unnecessary complexity and incomprehensible camera angles to the mix to make a truly bad game, since even the hacking becomes difficult. —Alorael, who would rather fight a bunch of doomguards in BoE with a god party. It's about the same challenge, and at least in BoE there's always a chance at having a plot jump out and surprise you. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |
