i think there should be some place where if you realy need to spam there you go.

i know spaming is like all bad and stuff, but where sould it go for those who do not have the will power to stop them selfs from posting dumb stuff, like this, and sometimes spaming.

This is in no way a spam topic, just a topic on spam. :D

God help the spam...

I'd suggest that we stuff spam down your throat, but the semen leaves little room for it.

The reason there is no place for spam on Spiderweb is because the company that hosts these boards requires more money if we waste lots of bandwidth. Jeff is unwilling to pay this money, so we have to keep the completely pointless posts to a minimum.

—Alorael, who wouldn't like to see anything else go the way of Misc. That was the closest thing Spiderweb had to a spam board, and it died of excess irrelevance.

That's not entirely true. Misc was the life of these boards. It had the polls, and the RP's, and all the other cool things. It was hella fun, until it went away. Things just aren't the same now..

I'm not sure why that post came off childish. I really don't. But, uh, Misc was a great place.

Um, Alorael, is General really any better than Misc about not being spamful? :P

(I should not post at 1:30 AM.)

Imban- General *is* better than Misc. Definitely not as active and not as filled with posting games.

Whether or not General is much better, it hasn't been removed yet. Let's not make it so bad that Jeff decides to correct this.

—Alorael, who thinks it's getting to be about time for another petition to restore Misc. Not that it will get anywhere, but the effort has to be made.

does Jeff actually ever read the posts?

and yes there should be a misc section.

Where do bad threads go when they die?
They don't go to heaven where the angels fly.
They go to the lake of fire and fry
Don't see 'em again 'til the Fourth of July.

Now spammers howl
and spammers moan
and look for a dry place to call their own
And try to find somewhere to rest their bones
'fore Drakey and UA fight to make them their own.

Where do bad threads go when they die?
They don't go to heaven where the angels fly.
They go to the lake of fire and fry
Don't see 'em again 'til the Fourth of July.

What should it matter whether or not Jeff reads the posts? All that counts is that it's costing him teh $$CASHMONEYS$$

i got the point about the money/cost for the board, i was just wandering if he does read it or not. It was just a question i was wandering about. Dont worry i will not make anymore spamful topics or posts. And my question, does jeff read the posts, is just for my own curiousity.

I'm new to the whole post/fourm thing i will egt better, promise. (well, i'll improve all exept spelling, i'm working on that but it's hard.)

I will give you a good start. I as in yourself is written with a capital i.

Example 1. - I have a big pile of poo in my pants. Sentences start with capital letters.

Example 2. You know, I have a big pile of poo in my pants. Again, capital letter at the start, but I is also capital. YAY for that. Have a nice day.

No, Jeff does not read posts often. Sometimes he drops by on the boards when he has just made a new game and wants to see what bugs have been uncovered, but even that is rare.

—Alorael, who believes the useful has been surgically removed from this topic. So its life will likewise be removed with the sniping of surgical precision.
