I heard that in the Monty Python and the Holy Grail DVD they put in a copy of the scene where the knights first encounter the french guys, but they dubbed it in Japanese and added English subtitles. Apparently the subtitles were literal translations of the Japanese dialog, so they looked a little like Zero Wing. I haven't gotten a chance to see it myself though.

I just put in my Monty Python and the Holy Grail DVD to test that. DVD put out by Rainbow Entertainment, RDVD 9901. The menu gives me the options of scene selection, bios of the python crew and previews of other Python DVDs.

No cool and funny mistranslations :(

Maybe the DVD is different in other countries?
