Mariann has announced a forum purge on forums #1, #15 and #18 (General and both Blades forums). The purge will affect topics stagnant over three months and be performed Wednesday morning, board time (-0800). To the best of my knowledge, PPP4 has already archived everything that will be affected, except for the results of polls that I have not yet voted in to allow Piperbot to access them. I will take care of that tomorrow. There is no need to compile a manual archive. However, if you wish to save any threads directly from UBB or resurrect them for potential continuation, now is the time to do it. Thank you and good night, :) -Aran -------------------- The Noble and Ancient Order of Polaris - We're Not Yet Dead. We're not talking about useless topic necromancy, here; we're talking about topics that are particularly useful to BoA players and have the potential for continued discussion. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. After all, resurrectig topics to avoid their deletion is directly against the purpose of the purge. The purge would have to be repeated sooner and become even more severe. -------------------- The Noble and Ancient Order of Polaris - We're Not Yet Dead. quote:No, they shouldn't. A mod could put a link to the archived thread at the top of the editor forum, and when a new bug is found, a new topic could be formed. Saving a multi-page thread is antithetical to the purge. -------------------- Synergy, et al - "I don't get it." Argon - "I'm at a loss for words..." I figured that it would be best to have the original Deathmatch thread, so I saved it. -------------------- Don't judge a sentence until you know all the words.
