And Anastasia, Vicky, Bevan, Anford, Angarahad, Captain Johnson, Mairwen... Others weren't, though. A small cadre of Avernites who had travelled to Upper Exile in A3 to get closer to the surface returned to the caves with no explanation or reference whatsoever: not just Elspeth, but also Crisper, Julio, Townsend...
