I use Graphic Converter for images, and BBEdit for text editing. I mainly use Firefox, but I use Opera when downloading files. -------------------- WWJD? Posts: 1384 | Registered: Tuesday, February 6 2007 08:00 |

Opera is the fastest browser I know of, and since I have dial-up, I use it when downloading demos and what not. -------------------- WWJD? Posts: 1384 | Registered: Tuesday, February 6 2007 08:00 |

You know, if you're going to use a dedicated program for downloading files, it may as well be a proper download manager instead of a web browser. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

I've used it too, for the same reason. Although recent versions of Firefox are just as fast (and AFAIK can also resume partial downloads, which is one of Opera's strong points). But Opera did fairly well for downloading files, and I was used to it (besides, being too lazy to switch between browsers, I normally ended up surfing in Opera when I downloaded a lot of files). -------------------- Encyclopaedia • Archives • Members • RSS [Topic / Forum] • Blog • Polaris • NaNoWriMo Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair.
