IP Bans

Deprecated function: implode(): Passing glue string after array is deprecated. Swap the parameters in drupal_get_feeds() (line 394 of /var/www/pied-piper.ermarian.net/includes/common.inc).

Does anyone know how to get around IP bans for game servers? I know that proxies work for web browsing and forum bans. But can proxies also be used to mask IP addresses when connecting to a specific server without a web-browser. I ask because recently I was inadvertently included in an IP-range ban.

I am not sure it is such a great idea for people to be publicly giving out advice regarding how to evade IP bans on a forum where some people are IP banned. :P
