Unless you're getting a CD or hint book, shipping isn't required, so I'm not sure what you mean. Unless you're talking about this. What did you buy? BoE? Nethergate? If so, you're getting a CD shipped to you whether you like it or not. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. Even in that case, if you email Jeff Vogel directly (spidweb at spiderwebsoftware dot com) you might be able to work something out with him whereby you just download the full version rather than getting anything shipped to you. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! if you don't buy anything that requires shipping (i.e. BoE, Nethergate, or a trilogy CD), you aren't charged for shipping and handling. Period. It looks like you may be, but you aren't. —Alorael, who has never quite understood why handling has to be considered a separate cost. Is there any way to ship without handling? If a package is only ever touched with a ten-foot pole by the delivery employees, that might not count as "handling". I wonder whether they offer handling without shipping, though. I'd want some verification of handling. How do I know that the contents that were not shipped were properly handled if I myself never get to observe them? Perhaps video footage would be required. —Alorael, who almost talked about package handling. Then he realized that TM has been at his finest lately and doesn't need any more fuel for his fires. Yes, that is a possible innuendo. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

the extent of the "delivery" was an email with my registration code. That doesn't qualify for shipping and handling charge since its free and i don't think you can touch data. -------------------- Anonymous:I don't know everything, just more than you Posts: 3 | Registered: Sunday, February 12 2006 08:00 |

If you were charged for shipping and handling, email Jeff. You shouldn't be unless an object was shipped and handled. —Alorael, who would also make sure you didn't order a CD by accident. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

I've also always received a snail mail letter, I assume for some reason related to the legal categorization of the transaction. -------------------- Slarty vs. Desk • Desk vs. Slarty • Timeline of Ermarian • G4 Strategy Central Posts: 3560 | Registered: Wednesday, November 7 2001 08:00 |
