After playing both Avernum and Genforge, I've found that I like the later one much better. But that's because I find controling a horde of monsters slightly erotic. No, I kid. Classic style rpg's make me go all giddy on the inside, and as a DND fanatic I appretiate the number of different choices I can make.

So, yeah enough worship for the team.
I look forward to posting in this community more, as there seems to be a general lack of stupid.

I haven't tried Geneforge 2 yet.

I'd play Geneforge if I hadn't had lost the CD. Oh, well.

There's plenty of stupid. The trick is to water it down enough so nobody notices until it's too late.

—Alorael, who also prefers Avernum's engine to Geneforge's. He'll manage to make the transition succesfully one of these days.
