I just read a review of the MMORPG called "Shadowbane". They include a class called "Niphilim".

I don't think so. The word Nephelim is actually a certain group of people in the Bible, so the term is often used.

In other words, Jeff ripped off the Bible. :P

There's also a pen-and-paper rpg called Nephilim. Which features millenia-old pcs that reincarnate every couple of centuries, thus making you write a background incorporating such famous aeras as ancient egypt and revolutionary france.
