Ah, okay. For some reason, I thought it worked differently from the other stats.

Thanks for your help!

Right-- I knew that the fyora was tying up some, so I absorbed it. But I'm still only at 31/53 essence. I know that I can get essence back through pods; is there a way to regenerate it in a similar way to how you can get health and magic points back?

Hi all, new player here. I've been fumbling around with Geneforge 4 for a couple of days. Some of the stuff is familiar-- I played Exile and Blades of Exile, oh, ages ago, so I know the basic setup-- but other stuff has me confused.

In particular, I'm flummoxed by how essence works. I figured that, to give the game a go, I'd try a character who relied mainly on spells, so I built an infiltrator. I have one little fyora following me around.

What I've discovered is that, while I have tons of spell energy, I have almost no essence. This makes spellcasting... difficult, as many spells require essence.

What am I missing? Is there a way to recharge essence? As it stands, I fear that this character is close to unplayable.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated; thanks!
