That's exactly what I've been doing, the boat is in my way when I go directly east. I can't go over the boat (text comes up saying not until I'm on the ground) and when I go around the boat I can't get to the land without drowning. Hate to be a bother, but this has been driving me crazy, I know it shouldn't be this hard.

The boat is in my way if I go along the cave wall. The boat blocks my path and I end up drowning before I can reach land.

I've just gotten through the 3rd guardpost and I can't get across the water (I've got the Orb). Every way I try I keep drowning. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
