I believe it was in one of the item spots you find on the ground that you have to have nature lore to get into, I think you had to have quite a bit of nature lore to get into it, but it was outside of the keep, before the bridge and closer to the top side of the map I think. Guardians were my personal favorites throughout the entire Geneforge series. I don't believe they need to be made any more powerful, no part of any of the games was too difficult to the point of being annoying. I also have never had to put any points into missile weapons. Sorry, I meant the mines north of Draco. I talked to both the owner of the mines and the Fort Leader of Draco itself. Also, I can't complete the quest involving the sage that wanted the Vahnati crystal, which I believe you get from the Vahnati in the caves north of Draco. Hmmm, I've been to the barrier and I think I've done everything I can... But I can't seem to complete the quests dealing with the mining cave. I killed the guy creating the undead. I also killed EVERY SINGLE monster in the the mine. No one wants to give me any money for it though, so now i'm angry!
