Silly me. I had view only the last 5 days of posts setup when I registered and thought this forum was empty. I found the solution to the problem on another thread. Please delete this one at your leisure. :)

I have Windows XP, PIII 1.0gig, 512MB Ram, nVidia Geforce 5200 w/128MB, SoundBlaster Live! 5.1, all drivers updated just before this post. Windows XP is completely updated. I think everything is.

I start up Geneforge 2, get to the first menu screen then it crashes every single time with this error message:

Unhandled exeption: c0000005
At address: 0042195e

I'd love to get this to work to try out the demo and then buy it. I admit I haven't played a Spiderweb game since Exile and Exile II, but both were excellent games.

Thanks for any help.
