I feel like such a Newb! I have toured the school for a few days now and am totally stuck - please help! Two quick questions:

1. What/where do I find the item that will let the chief spider let me by?

2. What/where do I shut off those stupid impenetrable green barriers?!?

Quick couple questions in Blades of Avernum

1. I was unable to get past the talking spiders, so I ended up killing them - how do you get the chief to talk?

2. I have found several "electric doors" in the school that don't let me pass - how do you deactivate them?

3. There are some rooms with black bar doors that I can't get around - is there a secret?

4. Is Spam considered red or white meat, and what wine is it best served with?

(pause for laughter)
