Sir DrakeFyre: Well!! I never even looked at Paint, I just assumed it didn't do much because it's such an old program... silly me!! The "Paste From" function actually works quite nicely. I'll try re-working my image and see about adding the other nearby areas... Maybe I'll try cleaning up some of the intersections and other disorderly parts while I'm at it. What is the "Graphic Converter" that you referred to?? I searched the web for that phrase, and found several different programs, don't know which one you're familiar with... Yeah, the only thing missing is one small section in the upper right, which leads to another exit. That region has several other small disconnected rooms in it, but including that map would have required creating an asymmetric matrix of images, which I just don't have any software to manage. What I need is a "jigsaw puzzle" program that lets me drag image blocks where I want them. Photoshop will probably do that, but I don't have any use for the program which would justify spending that kind of money!! Posts: 5 | Registered: Wednesday, October 9 2002 07:00 |

This isn't quite up to the quality of _some_ of our contributors here, but it *does* have all the areas!! Avernum 4 under-great-cave map (BTW, what software do others use to create matrices of images?? I used IrfanView, but it's a rather crude tool for the purpose) Posts: 5 | Registered: Wednesday, October 9 2002 07:00 |
