You're in the demo you say? The lost library (or whatever it was called)? I think you should charge the cube by putting it on one of the pedestals and then use the cube on the door. By using this method, you should be able to open all the doors, one by one. Each door has it's own pedestal. It's been a while since I played Homeland, though. Why, nobody has yet mentioned the mother of all online RPG, Runescape. And the beta version of Runescape 2 is now playable! So remember, when you feel like you have got too much time and money (it also helps if you admit that you lack a life), play Runescape! Why, it's still as boring and buggy as ever, but at least you can kill those goblins in a much more stylier way than before! Well, maybe not much more stylier. But at least the graphics don't burn your eyes anymore. Posts: 756 | Registered: Monday, August 4 2003 07:00 |

A great deal of people who attempts suicide, doesn't really want to die, when it comes to core. Often, to attempt to kill oneself is more like a last desperate call for aid, one that nobody can ignore. Posts: 756 | Registered: Monday, August 4 2003 07:00 |

First of all, I must say I don't really feel wise enough to say something meaningsful. And this is only my opinion. If you seriously think about commiting suicide something is wrong. The idea that my only reason to live is a pill isn't exactly what I would call an inspiring thought but, well, taking pills work. And they give you time. Time to reconsider. I have never (luckily) understood why people take their own lives. Isn't life, how miserable it may be, better than not living, not feeling at all? Isn't the thought that it always can get better something to carry on for? As Edith Södergran said, as I remember it: Faraway perhaps, another land/ a warmer breeze under the palm tree/ But there is nothing more than snow on the branches of the pine/ We should love the moments of life/ as the short moments when the desert blooms. Somehow I symphatize with the Romans. Probably because of the burning alive thing (bless you, Lord Summerisle). Anyway, the Celts are more interesting to play with since they get along significantly better with the powers of the Sidhe than the Romans. More mysteries, magic and mythology. And a spell is always better than a sword. At least it looks cooler. Romans...weak in the beginning but later on very strong. In combat, take out the druids first and watch the so called "warriors" flee the field. Also, you get to fight the Sidhe, a very rewarding thing if you've had enough of elves, goblins and the rest of the critters. See how superior and better they think they are when they're bleeding at the end of your spear. Brutal but satisfying. Or just brutal. -------------------- Mow down the sexy people. You're really into this virtual-pet thing... :P I sometimes name my creations. But only fancy names with "von" and "af", mind you. TGM once told me that his clawbug was named...Edvard? Edmund? I can't quite remember. Anyway, that's about the coolest name you can give to a clawbug. No, seriously. -------------------- Mow down the sexy people. I don't really have an opinion of you, but I think you should stay. You're over-reacting. MSW is right, some people here are a little nitpicky about their RPs. Of course, it's not up to me to decide what's good or bad, but honestly people, MSW writes hugely better than many others. Everyone can't be a natural poet but, nontheless, sometimes you just have to get along. And, though Morgan has a point about the "begging for pity business", I don't see why MSW shouldn't be allowed to post a "I'm leaving" topic, since everybody else does it. What's the definition of a nerd? Someone who uses his computer (too) much? Someone who is shy and lives in seclusion? Or both of these? I and my friends are daily on the Net and play lots of computer games. Still, we regularly go on parties and many of us have got a boy/girlfriend. While computers play a big part in our lives, there's more. What does that make us? We consider ourselves nerds, but more in an "anti-macho" way. Spiders are small, easily scared bugs. You are a huge, snorting thing who probably kills spiders every day, more or less uncounsciously. Why would a spider even attempt to come near you? Posts: 756 | Registered: Monday, August 4 2003 07:00 |
