I'd question that. I think bisexuals just tend to settle on one or the other (usually hetero) for societal reasons. I've found that in Real Life (TM), bisexuals are held in lesser regard than homosexuals. To hell with Americans. Personally, I'm not hot on 3D art in any case, but I don't see anything wrong with tasteful nudes. I don't remember any huge backlash against Daggerfall (which used a paper-doll inventory that allowed character nudity).
