Why did the Anglo-Saxons use the term bloody so much? Were they all hemophiliacs? Or did they just use it like some people use swear words (as every other word in the sentence).

Edit: I forgot this:

Then you must also hate Jumpin' Salmon for his "*this message sponsored by...*" and Alorael for his "—Alorael, who..." as they have both been copied in the past as well.

quote:
—Alorael, who may need another ever-changing item. What about sticking a link somewhere in each post that goes somewhere random? A random Wikipedia page, maybe? It's slightly more work, maybe, but wouldn't it be worth the effort?
You could link to one page, and have that page use JavaScript to redirect whoever goes there to a random webpage.

Personally, I have more trouble typing leet than reading it. Besides, I only like to use leetspeak under special circumstances, like responding to leetspeak.

Also, the boards should be newb-friendly, not noob-friendly. The difference is that a newb is somebody who is new at something, where a noob is an idiot. The boards should be as noob-unfriendly as possible, therefore making them as idiot-unfriendly as possible.

Edit: 10k posts for Alorael

Yeah, I know it isn't an HTML tag. You guys are reading way too much into it. It's just there. There is no reason for it being there, other than to just be there. It's not supposed to make sense. If I wanted it to make sense, it would make sense.

The word leet is derived phonetically from the word elite. It used to be hacker speak, but now it seems everyone has adopted it. leetness is the same thing as eliteness. It's sorta like awesomeness.

Even a paid hosting service will generally require you to agree to a set of terms of service before hosting your site. If you breach the terms you agreed to, well, you don't really have anyone to blame but yourself. Except in extreme cases, the law does not protect you from signing lousy contracts.
Which is why I read any contracts for paid services I subscribe to (which isn't a lot).

But like I said, it's unfair to judge a site on offensiveness or taste. Look at Maddox's site. His site is offensive to some, yet he gets a huge amount of visitors everyday, and he doesn't advertise his site. What's offensive for one person may not be for another.
