i'm finally at the end of the game, but i can't get the gate open... what am i missing?!?!?! i've done it a hundred times now... i'm so frustrated! please help!

If you mean the portcullis behind Rentar-Ihrno that leads to a pylon, it should open if you wander around the room for a short while. If it doesn't, you've just run into a bug.

—Alorael, who has heard of this bug striking others. A more exact description of what happens and what you did would help with debugging.
