I moved my .exs file, copied it to my "BLADSCEN" folder, and opened it in BoE. My starting town was nothing but cave floor. I thought I must have accidentally skipped the first town, so I opened it in the Editor. As it turns out, all but one of my towns has been deleted/"cavved". Is there an explanation for this? That's like 4 hours work erased.

Puff and blow and wheeze and hiss;
You can't frighten Shingebiss.
Bring your frost and ice and snow;
I'm still free to come and go.
You can never frighten me,
One who never fears is FREE!"

You did remember to save your scenario just before loading each new town or outdoor section, right? Occasionally the editor seems to forget to prompt you to save and you lose your work.

Anyway, I doubt the work you've already lost can be restored. Hope you've got a backup.

No, that wasn't the problem. They were cave-i-fied, and I had created them as grass towns. *sigh* grrr

EDIT: Oh hey crap, my first general protection fault error in the Editor! Wow. I have an old iMac in my closet here, I wonder if I should try on that…

I was playing around in my erased scenario, opened the one non-erased town, then switched towns a few times and discovered that one of the other towns somehow copied parts of the previous town and mixed it with a set pattern of the very last terrain spot. Very odd.
