finally got the sign problem fixed.....found out just unzipping to the blades folder wasn't enough.

Hi

the executible with the avernum crest has to be removed.from the game folder..then take the one from the fix and replace it..if you just overwrite the old one it won't work.

I think he means to delete the old Blades of avernum.exe before installing the patch.
