I'm playing Avernum 3 1.1.1 on Mac os 10.1.5 and have found that I can't access the apple menu when I've opened the application, which makes multi-tasking very hard if not impossible. Its very annoying when somebody sends me an IM and I can't respond without quiting the game, is there some way to do this that I've overlooked or is this a bug nobody else has experienced before? I searched this forum and didn't find anything related to my problem here. Any help greatly appreciated. thanks, Rzrwd Posts: 7 | Registered: Tuesday, August 6 2002 07:00 |

Go into the Finder and show info for the application; this command is in the File menu. In the information window, choose "Open in the Classic Environment." (385) Posts: 726 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

You could also choose to play it in windowed mode, which will give it a Minimize button. -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Happy Happy Joy Joy Encyclopedia Ermariana - Trapped in the Closet ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse! If you click on Settings from the main screen, unclick "Avernum takes up full screen" -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Happy Happy Joy Joy Encyclopedia Ermariana - Trapped in the Closet ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse! actually all that does is makes the screen move up towards the upper-left corner, it doesn't let you see applications in the background Posts: 7 | Registered: Tuesday, August 6 2002 07:00 |

What is your screen resolution? If it's 800x600, you won't see it. Try Command+Tab to switch applications, though.
