What do you mean by best? Do you mean least evil, or gain most power.

Least evil would be the Awakened.

Join all of the one by one. Just leave before you do anything major. If you have leadership of at least 12 you can get away with it. If you want to power play it join the Takers last. The one cheat I did was clearallsects as it made it easier to play unallied, and do as I pleased.

hmm i joined all sects before.They all seemed rather disappointingly boring.i found that takers were best tho
