In the Golem Factory at the top I can fight my way around to B (on the map of the top of the factory) it says that the energy is too strong and tat if I get any closer I will die. is there a secret door or something? This belongs in the Avernum Trilogy forum. Aside from that, you really should be more specific about exactly where you have trouble. I can assure you it is possible as I have been through there; however, without a better description, it will be difficult to assist. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! You need to fully explore the 2nd level and then come back. -------------------- "I can't read this thread with that image. But then, that's not a complaint." -Scorpius Geneforge 4 stuff. Did you use the control panel in the SE corner of the 2nd level? You need to deactive the Alpha, Beta and Star barriers. They're toggle switches so if the Beta barrier is bothering you use the button once to switch it off. -------------------- "I can't read this thread with that image. OK, I opened up the game again and I finally figured out what you are talking about. You need to destroy all 4 power crystals. They are outside the golem factory (to the N, E, S and W). You can access the E, S and W ones from the woods outside the factory. To reach the N one you need to go inside the factory and down to the basement, and out towards the north into the mountains. If you need any more help please read Relle's walkthrough here before you post again. -------------------- "I can't read this thread with that image. I destroyed all the mind crystals and I'm still stuck. Do I need to start the whole game over? I've been working on getting where I am for over a year and I don't wanna go back to the beginning! Posts: 130 | Registered: Saturday, May 13 2006 07:00 |

By the way, if you do get hopelessly stuck, it's still possible to win the game without finishing the golem quest. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |
