I have the Avernum trilogy on CD and want to update Avernum and A2 to be OS X compatible. Unfortunately, the updates seem to unregister the game. Is there any way to update without losing the registered status? (While I could just get keys again, the games were actually ordered by my father several years ago and I'd like to not go through the hassle of figuring out addresses and stuff.) -------------------- There are two kinds of game players...those who are newbies, and those who were. I think all you have to do to reregister is move your old preferences file from the OS 9 system folder to Users/apple/Library/Preferences (which is its new location for the OS X version). If that doesn't work, email Spiderweb for a new registration code. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |
