What's up with that. Even my mages and priests melee attack. Is there anyway to trigger a spell casting like the monsters. -------------------- "Fall in CHAOS!!!" Dark Archon. Posts: 74 | Registered: Saturday, June 19 2004 07:00 |

The solution is to avoid using autocombat. It is terrible at best. Fighting may be annoying, but it's better than letting the computer run both sides of the battle. —Alorael, who can see that Jeff either didn't bother programming autocombat at all or programmed it so that the computer can play favorites. It helps when doing replays of ZKR and DwtD with my lvl 40 party. I even used it on the first Vahkos fight. -------------------- "But The Damage is Irreversible" Posts: 358 | Registered: Monday, October 27 2003 08:00 |

I only use it when I'm really strong and have better things to do with my time, but still want treasure. -------------------- Do not underestimate the power of the mechanical pencil. Back in the first and second Avernum you could cast spells with auto, but I guess that's over. Is there a way to automatically select all possible target for Ice Lances and others like that without clicking. -------------------- "Fall in CHAOS!!!" Dark Archon. Besides mashing the A, B, C, etc. keys really quickly? Not that I've found. —Alorael, who wouldn't mind a feature like that himself. Sure, you'd still have to select manually when there are lots of enemies, but it would save time when frying BBEG #1, Underling #1, and Underling #2. r0fl you use autocombat? its real bad, because you let your comp control both you and your opponent. the computer is pretty bad at controlling the enemies. Posts: 15 | Registered: Monday, June 28 2004 07:00 |
