EDIT: nm, figured it out. Say "Quark." Also, you can read the walkthrough in the Blades of Avernum Manual pdf file. It is literally right next to the BoA application that you open to play the game. Chapter 12, I believe, is the walkthrough. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. Smoo: Get ready to face the walls! This is the single most FA of the FAQ on this board. I have answered it here, among other places. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. Answer to new question: Look in the corescendata.txt file for the item numbers. -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Happy Happy Joy Joy Encyclopedia Ermariana - Trapped in the Closet ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse! Have you even tried to look for corescendata.txt? If your game works the way it should, then you have that file, or some Macified version of it. It is what defines all the default 'objects' (monsters, items, floors, terrain) and is loaded every time you run the game. -------------------- Thuryl: I mean, most of us don't go around consuming our own bodily fluids, no matter how delicious they are. ==== Alorael: War and violence would end if we all had each other's babies! ==== Drakefyre: Those are hideous mangos. If you have a Mac, corescendata.txt is in the Blades of Avernum Files folder, which itself is inside the Blades of Avernum folder. On Windows it should be somewhere vaguely analogous. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |
