Leave the town, go South in your boat, and then land on the first land you see to the West. Go North, and you can enter by land. Now for my grievance with this torture of a scenario. I'm in Khoth's palace, and it's making me want to cry. Help. In detail. Please. I'm begging you!!

okay Khoth's palace wasn't too difficult. All you need to do is wait a few turns for the lasers to change directions, then cross. Note: The fastest paths are cut off, you ahve to work your way around.
Then after the golem fight you give Khoth the item you got from Morog.
