the town conversion was possible in a3 so i think it will be in BoA. vide ToM.

Plateaus: They appeared in the Avernum games. I'm sure they'll be possible in BoA.

Bridges: I think they would be great too, but I don't think they'll be possible. That would require each height to be treated as a separate tile instead of simply moving graphics.

Towns: That's a given.

—Alorael, who supposes scripts could be use to make fake bridges. Just set scripts to the spaces adjacent to the bridge that either change it to a real bridge or just a graphic of a bridge that you go under.
