Hi all! Help. I'd like to have a custom label (64x64) for my BoA scenario. I can't seem to find a way to do this. I remember being able to do it in BoE... am I missing something? If this is not currently supported, perhaps Jeff would consider adding this feature? -------------------- "Power is my mistress." - Napoleon Upcoming scenario: The Game of Houses Posts: 9 | Registered: Wednesday, February 2 2005 08:00 |

We're hoping he'll add this feature. Right now it's not available. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. It didn't work properly in BoE either. The issue is that custom graphics aren't loaded until you actually enter the scenario. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

Thanks Kelandon! Also, thanks for the HLPM. I reckon the lack of this feature was probably just an oversight on Jeff's part in his rush to get on with Geneforge 3. One might argue that he's included pictures of just about every kind of landscape in which a scenario could be imagined to take place in the default scenario labels file. However, I want the scenario I have in mind to use a more metaphorical approach to the style of its opening graphics (including the label). I reckon the answer is to include the pic in my custom graphics file, and update the scenario at a later date (assuming the feature does not become supported before first-release). -------------------- "Power is my mistress." - Napoleon Upcoming scenario: The Game of Houses Posts: 9 | Registered: Wednesday, February 2 2005 08:00 |

In reply to Le Diable d'Ouangs, Ah... I sort of suspected that this might be the case. Well, we do the best we can with the tools we have, right? -------------------- "Power is my mistress." - Napoleon Upcoming scenario: The Game of Houses Posts: 9 | Registered: Wednesday, February 2 2005 08:00 |

If you want to use that picture of yours, you can always make it a splash screen to accompany the intro text at the start of the scenario. Of course, you'll have to increase the size a little.
