You'll find that each tombstone bears an inscription. If you were meticulous in your search of the previous level of the dungeon, you'd notice that the inscriptions are all contained in a paper in one of the desks. What you need to do is look at each of the tombstones in the order that the paper has them (you'll probably need to record the paper when you read it, and will need a scrap piece of paper to write down the order in which to look at the tombstones).
