I've made it to the floor with all the lasers and mages. I've killed all the lasers and mages. Now how do I kill the mini-boss mage, who's nigh invulnerable? I can do, on occasion, 1-2 damage against him, which doesn't seem to help out much, and trying to force him to burn out all his mp got boring after a while.

Try dying. That always works.

I went through efforts to get my party wiped. It didn't help the situation. I think you're lying.

You call me a liar, boy?

No, really. If you try to kill off your party, odds are you'll succeed.

Sigh... Okay, yes, killing my party will work, but I fail to see how it will help me beat this wizard, unless there's some sort of special way to do it.

When killed, some of the enemy mages drop items which can help you. Specifically, Shinibiimu.

Oo, a proper answer! Thanks, I searched all the loot-piles and found one.
