quote:Mmmmh - that would reverse the whole interpretation. Rather than dropping that continent, Prazac would echo a very Aizoan-centric perspective with that. On that note, where does Aizo lie in relation to Pralgad? South (past Valorim)? To the east? Alec is who we need, I believe... -------------------- Encyclopaedia • Archives • Members • RSS [Topic / Forum] • Blog • Polaris • NaNoWriMo Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair. You could give an answer just as well as Alec. The games don't say, so anything that anyone else would say would be just as made-up as your interpretation. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. Isn't Valorim more of a frontier than a backwater? Normally that means the opposite, but I guess the two can coincide when frontier also means man-eating monsters. Opportunity is balanced by the chance of being eaten as well as dying of diptheria or other roach-borne plague. —Alorael, who is sure Prazac has more than just four titles. Those are probably just the ones for informal use. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

By the way, I really should have searched before making a new topic. But nobody noticed, and it's two years old anyway. Also, quote:it seems to contain information contradicting this. Gah, now I need to check for myself. quote:The system on Spiderweb appears to stress age and achievement of the members, which means anyone who's been here longer or has made a lot of scenarios gets to say what goes. It's not a perfect system, but there it is. Theoretically though, I've usually imagined the continents like this: Edit: Vantanas is too large. Whilst Alec technically has made a lot of scenarios, they're... well... um. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

As I said, "has been here long OR has made a lot of scenarios." I'm well aware. :P -------------------- Encyclopaedia • Archives • Members • RSS [Topic / Forum] • Blog • Polaris • NaNoWriMo Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair. Anyway (sorry for the double), what I really wanted to know is if there are any problems with this present arrangement of the continents. Taking into account the concept of increased scale (by which the size of Valorim is approximately three times that which is in the games, just to make the world a more realistic size), I'm wondering whether they might be too far apart. This scale is approximately 1:100,000,000 -------------------- Encyclopaedia • Archives • Members • RSS [Topic / Forum] • Blog • Polaris • NaNoWriMo Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair. I'd put Aizo and Vantanas closer to Pralgad and Vantanas. I think Aizo should be NE of Pralgrad with Vantanas S or SE of Aizo. -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Happy Happy Joy Joy Encyclopedia Ermariana - Trapped in the Closet ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse! I also believe he meant Vantanas. I've made that mistake often enough myself. Edit: Valorim! Valorim, dammit! Edit2: Also, putting Aizo NE of Pralgad would at least make it far more plausible why they settled Pralgad first, instead of Valorim. Incidentally, Alec said something about the Aizoans having South at the top of the map. quote: [ Saturday, August 27, 2005 14:55: Message edited by: Arancaytar ] -------------------- Encyclopaedia • Archives • Members • RSS [Topic / Forum] • Blog • Polaris • NaNoWriMo Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair.
