At the end of Mad Ambition when you go to talk to Dervish Keith I keep getting an error that says unhandled exception:c0000005 at address: 0040ae5a I have no idea what this means so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Posts: 5 | Registered: Monday, August 15 2005 07:00 |

If you haven't done so already, download the latest version of the scenario from here: http://tm.desperance.net/MadAmbition.html Not sure if this will help, since I haven't heard anyone report that particular error at that particular place before, but it's worth a try. If that doesn't fix the problem, reply and we'll have a go at tracking down what exactly is wrong. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Oh and I forgot to mention it happens right when I click the OK on Keith's dialog box. Posts: 5 | Registered: Monday, August 15 2005 07:00 |

Hmm. Looking at the script, I'm guessing that for whatever reason your copy of BoA is violently objecting to the force_view_center(47,47) call. Open up t2Exit.txt in the scenario folder, look for both lines in the script that read force_view_center(47,47); and delete them. Alternatively, try changing them to force_view_center(30,30); or another black space within the town boundaries. I've spoken to the scenario designer. He has no idea what's going on and nobody else has reported a similar problem. All I can suggest is that you make sure that no other applications are running at the same time as BoA, to reduce the possibility of memory issues. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure!
