HELP with DIPLOMACY WITH THE DEAD

People, I need some help with the Dimplomacy With The Dead. I got to the part when I get into Vakhlos castle ( or wateverh is name is ) and I tried to kill him 2 itimes, the first time I hit him he says " I'm gonna be prepared" or someting and the second time, he freezes the room. What do I do after he dissapears the 2nd time? Any help?? please?

Keep searching the castle. He's gone to a room in the southeast -- it's one you may have been to before, which is why you might have overlooked it.
