Courtesy of the Internet Anagram Server, I've used the art of anagramancy to bring to light several new revelations regarding various hitherto hidden characteristics of the Eternal White One. Anagramancy which, though not as thirst-quenching as tasseomancy, or as fashionable as stolisomancy, or as spectacular as ceraunoscopy, is nonetheless more sanitary than hepatoscopy, safer than belomancy, less expensive than margaritomancy, and nowhere near as herpticidal as plastromancy. And to top it all off, it's as much fun as gyromancy! And thanks to the Subjective Theology Office, the following illuminations are entirely open to personal interpretation. (Well, most of them, anyway.) ————— COMPLETE ANAGRAMS: What Reich, Dr. I? —Obviously an allusion to myself, Icshi (Dr. I), who, as leader of the White Cult, can, at any time, guide White's followers along, as it were, at their clamorous request, towards the Path to Empire, and fill his own sentences with many, nay, dozens of commas, without let or hindrance. Hi! I rad wretch. —Richard White introducing himself to the 8th Annual Seattle Shareware Convention Hid air wretch. Which I, retard? —Capable of several differing interpretations, none of them very complimentary. Weird rich hat —Clearly expressing, I think, the need for a new style of Cult-sanctioned form of headgear. With dire arch Which art dire Harried witch —Perhaps written below "Richard White" on his name tag at the above-mentioned 8th Annual Seattle Shareware Convention, as a fuller description of his particular niche in the software world. Herdic wraith Chi Whi retard Hardwire itch —Expressing the transcendent desire of all Cultists to become one with His Visions by embarking on a ten-hour Galactic Core binge. (—Or, far more likely, a reference to one of the common side-effects of those pesky implants.) ————— PARTIAL ANAGRAMS: Diarrhetic —Hmmm… Hardwire Hierarch Tarried Harried Hairier (?) Harriet —At last, the name of Mrs. White is finally revealed! Uh, whatever that's worth... Charred Triadic Hatched Watched Watcher Aircrew Warred Erratic ————— You can also get the words "Third" and "Reich." Further comment would be superfluous. ————— Any Cultists distressed by any of these revelations is invited to call the Indoctrination Crisis Hotline at: 1-900-555-1528 The fee for this service is a reasonable $16 per minute, payable by cash, money order, or five years of indentured servitude on a pirate ship plying the sea off the western coast of Greenland. I declare myself Triadic Watcher Hierarch! —Alorael, who feels cheated. What happened to Chr'iwht, iigmdre, and dcgma'rc? Notice that "Ia, Ia" can be found in the name of RW... Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

The first anagram result for Richard Black is 'BARRACK CHILD'. Hmm.... 'A WITCH RID HER' (Richard White) So that's how he met his wife. These anagrams are revealing more and more about RW than we thought! -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step. Posts: 2396 | Registered: Saturday, January 29 2005 08:00 |

quote:Love the new name, Alo! Maybe all Cult members should change their monikers to an anagram of Richard White — either complete or partial, depending on personal preference — or even a combination of the two — at least for a short while, as a sort of bizarre publicity blitz. :D … … Well, I've heard of worse schemes! I'll have to seek divine guidance on what my new moniker should be… Posts: 907 | Registered: Monday, July 15 2002 07:00 |

Sounds good, Icshi, I'll do it now. EDIT: Dirac Whither. Like it? I say we keep them until January or until the next stat topic, around the 19th. Fun fact: "Triadic Watcher Hierarch" is a perfect anagram of "I, Richard White Character", proving conclusively that Alorael is in fact a creation of the mind of Richard White. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! So there's Drakey, who may or may not be RW, and Jeff Vogel, who may or may not be Drakey and/or RW. I, Richard White Character, am not Zxquez, and Zxquez was established as everyone else long ago. Does this mean Zxquez (and, transitively, you who are reading this) is RW, or that Zxquez is not RW? —Alorael, who will have to come up with a lot of anagrams. Few will be this exciting, either. Alas, the tribulations of a life of many names are truly terrible. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

As I am a great believer in the fundamental arbitrariness of all coding schemes, I will change my moniker to an anagram of RW by redefining the meaning of its current characters. EDIT: There, it's done. Do you like it? [ Tuesday, December 06, 2005 00:39: Message edited by: Student of Trinity ] -------------------- We're not doing cool. We're doing pretty. Fix the typo. Fourth letter. —Alorael, who sincerely hopes that was an honest mistake and not deliberate blasphemy. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

What? There's no typo ...! EDIT: Oh, I see the problem. There was a glitch in the recoding scheme as transmitted to the implants of those to whose implants the wisdom of our secret hierarchs has vouchsafed it. A patch is available to those implants to which it is likewise in its turn vouchsafed. (Those hierarchs, always with the vouchsafing. Or rather, their wisdom, always therewith. One suspects that this "wisdom" of our secret hierarchs is in fact some kind of meta-implant, allowing them to be informed, and needless to say, at need controlled, by the secreter hierarchs. Or rather, by their wisdom. Yes. Of course. So mote it be.) [ Tuesday, December 06, 2005 10:57: Message edited by: Student of Trinity ] -------------------- We're not doing cool. We're doing pretty. quote:Say what? I like your new name, incidentally. It took me a while to figure out what that came from, but the answer was overwhelmingly obvious once it struck me. EDIT: I can tell I'm new to this shifting-moniker business. When I see a posting by "IRA Witch Herd" and see text written by myself, it's a bit jarring! It gives me the strange suspision that there's some imposter skulking around out there, plagarizing my gibberish! [ Tuesday, December 06, 2005 15:20: Message edited by: IRA Witch Herd ] Posts: 907 | Registered: Monday, July 15 2002 07:00 |

Desperance is an actual word, by the way. It's apparently an archaic synonym for despair. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |
