For years I've been using n iBook running OS 9, and just recently got an iMac running OS X. I was wondering if ResEdit will work in X when running Classic, or if it will go kaplooee and wreck things on my hard drive. I enjoy looking at the sprite and graphic files of the Spiderweb games, as well as some of the ones put out by Ambrosia, and will miss the ability to do this so easily once I'm all settled down using X. I'm a virtual computer ignoramus — most software issues are nothing more than voodoo magic to me. -------------------- The A.E. van Vogt Information Site My Tribute to the Greatest Writer of the Science Fiction Golden Age Posts: 907 | Registered: Monday, July 15 2002 07:00 |

Well, it does work, mostly, if you don't mind waiting for Classic to start up. If you ever need to make custom graphics for a BoE/BoA scenario, it sometimes acts a little funny and corrupts the graphics when you try to paste them in. Consider using ResFool instead. -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! Roots Hunted! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |
