Skribbane cannot be found outside of Spiderweb, and if you ask your dealer to sell you Skribbane, he possibly doesn't, because he thinks, you had already too much of it IMAGE(tongue00.gif)
But it is a neat creation and the etymology points to "skribble" (... ideas, creativity!). Is it one of Jeff's inventions?

btw: Is somebody growing own plants? I do, yet still to the large amuse of the snails ...

Actually, I assumed the word was derived from "Skrib" and "bane", whatever a Skrib is.

I'd be tender, I'd be gentle
And awful sentimental
Regarding love and art
I'd be friends with the sparrows
And the boy who shoots the arrows,
If I only had a heart.

Some Google responses...

What happens when you have too much skribbane: Agent Skrib.

Someone who speaks French can tell me what on Earth this site is about: skrib.com.

Scrib- is also a Latin root for the verb "to write," which gives "escribir" in Spanish and probably a good number of other words in Romance languages, too.

I'm not sure what this is, either, but it sounds vaguely threatening.

Skrib is also a town in the Czech Republic.

This feels vaguely Slavic, but I don't know.

Skrib is an Anime character.

And many more. Find them yourself, on Google!

EDIT: Oh yeah, my point. I forgot. I think Jeff just made it up. It sounds like something herbal (wolfsbane) combined with something harsh and Germanic or Slavic (skrib).

The French site is a press agency. As you mentioned, scrib* has to do with write. A scribe is a writing person.
The site you are not sure about is Esperanto and I think, the "slavic" one too. The creator of esperanto was a Pole.

Do not seek to purchase skribbane. I assure you that it is all mine, and I am willing to enforce that claim with all sniping that I deem necessary.

All the best skribbane comes out of Gale or my basement. Do not try to purchase from anywhere else. You will probably have an even worse experience than normal, and then I will hunt you down and abuse you like an asterisk.

?Alorael, who is still Spiderweb's resident skribbane addict even though he doesn't trot out the tired old jokes on a daily basis. Hm, maybe he should... It would ease identification.

As if 7500+ posts isn't identification enough.

...or the scribbane location, that's how I can tell, well, other than the tagline at the end...
