Which Spiderweb game has the best game art - and I mean the splash screens, character portraits, and skill portraits, not the actual game pixel graphics.

Which (recent) game art is your least favorite?

Of the Avernum series, BOA has the best, in my opinion. Of the Geneforge series... well I can't really say. They're all pretty good.

Tyran needs to put his image here too. I miss ol' blue face.

All the Foglio skill pictures are genius.

—Alorael, who thinks they're probably the biggest thing he misses in A4+. A5 fixes many things, but it still has no pretty, hilarious pictures.

I adore the splash art for Avernum II, especially when coupled with the music...it's absolutely genius and really makes me wish Jeff would put more music like that in the actual games. The background noises in places like, say, Fort Emergence are nice, but music would be good.

(And get rid of that one background noise with the kid or baby or whatever it is screaming("Waaaaah!")...right now the only place I can remember it playing is the Faerie Bazaar in Nethergate Resurrection, but that has to be one of the most annoying noises I've heard in a video game EVER!)

Well that signature was out of date, since I've not been here in forever.

Dikiyoba likes that splash screen/intro music pairing and the one for the first Geneforge as well.

Edit: Fixed quote.

That's probably been in every game since G1.

More than likely...as I said, it was remembering, since it had been at least a year since I'd played any Spiderweb Software game before I picked up Nethergate: Resurrection not too long ago.

And I love the picture art for the skills, too...I loved seeing that return in Nethergate: Resurrection and I really hope Jeff decides to bring them back in Avernum V.

It might be nice to see it in Geneforge 5 too.

Best: The art in "Exodus" and TM's " Renegade" Scenarios.

Worst: The blow-up boats in the Geneforge Series.

I really like the splash screen used in GF4, where the infiltrator is all bound up on her knees and her pert bosom pushes through a couple of coils of the rope and her outfit is all torn up and the two Serviles are menacing her from behind while the drakon leers at her... mmm... I think I need some alone time with my monitor.

I REALLY like to watch.

I really like the Phil Foglio artwork, but then I grew up on What's New with Phil and Dixie. He has his own site at Studio Foglio for his older work too. It's always nice to look at some of it.
