I prefer Horror (though I haven't seen a good horror movie in years), Comedy, Action, and a couple of more. EDIT: Honey, it is spelled "Favorite" Fa-Vo-Ri-Te, if you are unsure then just type fav :P . I never thought I'd be the one to correct grammar, wow [ Friday, March 10, 2006 11:15: Message edited by: Rei ] Posts: 1035 | Registered: Friday, April 1 2005 08:00 |

I like horror, mostly because they are extremely funny. Thriller are cool to, and a good comedy is never a bad thing. I hate musicals, I felt like sharing that information. -------------------- There are 400 words in the dictionary that begin with "self" and only 8 that begin with "fellow". When in doubt. . . mumble. Posts: 150 | Registered: Saturday, August 20 2005 07:00 |

I'm hispanic, we call everyone honey, mi amor, etc. Especially when referring to kids. And please don't make a deal out of this, or go your way with dirty thoughts Ew [ Friday, March 10, 2006 11:38: Message edited by: Rei ] Posts: 1035 | Registered: Friday, April 1 2005 08:00 |

I wasn't aware that PG, G, R, and PG-13 were genres, particularly outside of the US's film rating system :D . But on-topic, anything comedy or sci-fi is good. Particularly old BBC sci-fi series... low budgets often breed good plots, lest natural selection gets the shows cancelled. -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. quote:Then you're using the wrong spelling. *Prays that she is right* I hate not knowing enough English to act as if I were 100% sure of everything I say. I am; however, fairly confident that in America it's Favorite. Anyways, whether is Favorite or Favourite, all I know is that its def not "Favriote" Posts: 1035 | Registered: Friday, April 1 2005 08:00 |

When you spell 'mouse' you do not take the 'u' out. It would be 'mose' and it would look silly. Or house. Hose. Group. Grop. Soup. Sop. Coup. Cop. See a pattern here? Colour. Favourite. Behaviour. :D -------------------- If I could make just one wish, I would want a tasty vlish. Geneforge IV. Still no tasty vlish. Posts: 1104 | Registered: Tuesday, February 12 2002 08:00 |

quote:Your reasoning is... not right. To clarify: American English spells favorite, "favorite". The 'u' is an outsider thing. Same with color. The first words you suggested, are in fact in need of the u they possess. You can tell by the fact that several of the "wrong words" you spelled, are indeed words. Oh, and I like action and comedy. Action/comedy is just great. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Posts: 1582 | Registered: Wednesday, November 13 2002 08:00 |

Webster was dictatorial, but he did create the dictionary for American english. Favour is the British variation, not the American one. Case closed. One could argue that different spellings should be pronounced differently as well. favourite - FAY-voo-rit favorite - FAY-voh-rit -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Arghhhhhhhhh! There those bigotist Americans go again, surpressing our culture. -------------------- Hey, I'm not a lumberjack, or a fur trader.... I don't live in an igloo or eat blubber, or own a dogsled.... and I don't know Jimmy, Sally or Suzy from Canada, although I'm certain they're really really nice. I have a Prime Minister, not a president. I speak English and French, not American. And I pronounce it 'about', not 'a boot'. I can proudly sew my country's flag on my backpack. I believe in peace keeping, not policing, diversity, not assimilation, and that the beaver is a truly proud and noble animal. A toque is a hat, a chesterfield is a couch, and it is pronounced 'zed' not 'zee', 'zed' !!!! Canada is the second largest landmass! I will express my opinion by means of a post, rather than using Arghhs poll, which as usual has way to many unnecessary choices (the number of choices doens't dictate the quality of a poll believe it or not.) I'll take a comedy any day, only the best of action movies (Matrix, Terminator) can temporarily convince me otherwise. -------------------- Guaranteed to blow your mind. "Favourite" isn't the British spelling as much as it is the international spelling. The "U" is like the metric system. Virtually everyone does it, except for the USA. One could draw conclusions about Americans from this, but I won't be the one to do it. Not out loud, anyway. :P -------------------- SupaNik: Aran, you're not big enough to threaten Ash.
