Right now, it's just BoA and Championship Manager (03/04). It owns my soul.

Scrabble and The Settlers of Catan (both online)are the only games I'm playing at the moment.

All the games I've bought recently - Total Club Manager 2003, Anno 1602, Galactic Civilizations & Capitalism 2 - turned out to be pure crap.

All these are computer games. They're good, but still.

What non-computer games do y'all play?

I play Traveller, which is a very good sci-fi pen and paper RPG.

Chess is a great game, although I haven't been playing much recently. Settlers of Catan is fun too, especially when you're using German cards (tiles? pieces?) and can't tell what anything is.

—Alorael, who can also proudly report that for the first time in his life he won a hand of poker. He doesn't play that often, but often enough that that is a very saddening statement.

Well, I enjoy quite a few non-computer games. Most of the classic board games are excellent, my personal favorites being Scrabble, Stratego, Checkers, Clue, Life, and Trivial Pursuit. Card games such as Gin Rummy and Uno can also be great fun, especially with several players. And I couldn't make a list of favorite games without including Jenga.

Video and computer games:

Halo (no Xbox Live for me, unfortunately)
Midtown Madness (I'm already bored)
SW games (though not lately)
Gateway (the best text-based adventure ever! Play it!)
Angband and ADOM (when I'm bored I play boring games. Usually I end up screaming of excitement as the battle between @ and D rages on.)

Board games:

Chess (third place in the high school championship! Yay!)
Backgammon (if I only could learn how to beat my father...)
Othello (it's the corners, I tell you! The corners!)
Trivial Pursuit (no, it's not that fun. But at least I usually beat my sister at it.)
The Star of Africa (the one, the only)
Most card games ever invented. Plus fortune-telling.

And if we really stretch the concept of games, then I might as well add petanque and dart throwing.

EDIT: Now I only wonder if somebody actually bothers to read through it all...

I used to play a lot of chess and got very good at it for a time, but I've ceased playing it much recently. The only time I play other board games is Christmas time.

You actually play petanque? Wow.

I play soccer mainly, and some frisbee and basketball.

Icehockey, icehockey, icehockey, icehockey, icehockey. And football (both out- and indoor) and bandy sometimes.

I didn't know Settlers of Catan was released in English... :D

I play Chess horribly, a dice game called Bluff (slightly like Poker I'm told, except that it's dice instead of cards, so it's much easier to calculate probabilities), and I've just started to play Warhammer 40k (with Tau :) ).

Computer-wise, I love ADOM (never finished it yet though... ), Settlers III, Riven and Douglas "Forty-Two" Adams' unforgettable "Starship Titanic". Oh yes, and I've got the demo of Uru, but need to sneak to my parents' PC to play it cause it won't run on mine. I'm a fan of the Myst series since... let me think... '96. Almost as long as I've known how to use a PC.

I play Blizzard and AmbrosiaSW games, mainly, and I have no consoles. Suggestions, people? Which console is best (including cost)?

Actually, I was trying to decide between XBox and Gamecube. I guess I'd rather go with Gamecube, since it's not made by Microsoft, but I really don't know how they compare, quality-wise.

X-Box is actually a great console, but because of my extreme hate towards Microsoft, I don't have it myself.

PS2 is a good choice, you may wanna wait until PS3 comes thou.
